Weekend Haul

I normally do my shopping late in the week. This is what I got, I don't think these DC Figures are all that great but the characters were really cool. So, I figured I pick them up. One thing I would like to note, I picked up two Deathstroke figures, so one of them is probably going in a giveaway.

Also, the NEW Happy Meal Toys are out. Brave and The Bold Batman series.

So, I figured I should give everyone alittle update for those that check this out. I have been taking two summer classes so I can graduate at the end of the year. This is why I haven't been on this as much just got too many things going on.

Now, that I got that out of the way I wanted to bring you all up to speed with my Youtube Channel. Roughly two weeks ago my YouTube channel got approved to be in the Partnership program. If you know that means, then I don't have to explain it, but for those that need alittle info on the matter.

Being a partner: You get paid, well you get adds on all of your videos if you choose to do so. With the ads you get a % of views and clicks. This is how you make some money. For a channel like mine its only a few bucks a day, but it adds up. For channels like Shanedawson I can only imagine he is loaded with money.

Also, you get a banner on the top of your channel. The one I have right now is ok, but nothing special I need to create a better one sometime. And you can also post another picture below your info boxes.

I know there is alot more things you get but those are the most visible when you now look at my videos and or channel page.

So, this is all very exciting because I have been on youtube now for only 7 months. I find this pretty good, some may think different but I know I worked hard at it and made alot of friends on the way. I feel if I would have done it different I may have never been partnered and atleast not this fast.

To end this post I want to give everyone alittle update on a few videos in the works.

What Comics I'm Reading?

Hey, everyone I'm back and I wanted to talk about what comics I'm reading right now.

As, most of you know the Blackest Night series is over and it was pretty good, worth the read for sure, but the Brightest Day has started and we are on book 3 already. Its looking good so far. But there are alot of other good reads out there and here's what Im reading.

Brightest Day (DC)- This is about what happened and what is happening after the Blackest Night series. Its has a huge selection of superheroes, its only on book 3 but its looking good. I believe there is a new comic every other week, so it should a pricey pickup but a story that will always stay fresh and you wont have to wait too long to find out whats next. Nothing really crazy so far for me or atleast nothing I care enough about yet. So, right now I have to give it 2 1/2 out of 5. It's just starting, but it looks to be building up to something well worth the read.

The Thanos Imperative (Marvel)- Oh, damn this is good. Just looking at the cover makes me smile. I can't say Im the biggest fan of marvels space books, but this one has alot of the characters I really like. Silver Surfer, Thanos, Drax, Nova, Star-Lord, and Rocket Raccon. I love reading stories about these guys, and the art is really nice aswell, which Im finding out more and more means alot to me. This comic has just started, so you can just pick it up and not be behind. I don't want to give anything away, but I say its a must read if you like atleast 2 of those characters I meantioned earlier. 4 out of 5.

Secret Six (DC)- Now, this is a different kind of comic. Its about the misadventures of six villians/heroes you love to hate. Catman, Deadshot, Bane, etc... these all in one book make for one crazy ride. I think its up to book 21, I have only read the first 7 so far, but I have up to 17, that Im working on at the moment. Even though I don't know everything, because Im still trying to catch up I know its a great book, because all my friends are talking about it. So, let me pass on the NEWs. Only because I haven't caught up yet, I have to get it a 3 1/2 out of 5. But from what I'm hearing its closer to a 4 out of 5.

Avengers Origins (Marvel)- This is a comic I just recently picked up, and I have to say its a rather nice read. It's got the original cast in there costumes of the time, Iron Man, Thor, Loki, Ant-man, Wasp, and Hulk. It's more of a origin story and if your into that I say read this book. I wanted to pick it up just to see if this is anything like, what they are planning for the upcoming Avengers Film. Its very possible, they will be using something like this, but no telling really. I'm enjoying this book. 3 out of 5.

Avengers Heroic Age (Marvel)- The 1st comic is the only one out so far, but I fell in love this comic already. It has the new avenger cast, after the aftermath of Seige, which is alot of the same, but its great. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone. Let's just say it should be very interesting, and Kang shows up!! 5 out of 5.

X-Men Second Coming (Marvel)- This comic is extremely addicting to me! I love the X-Men and this story is perfect for any X-Men fan, a must read. There is 14 chapters, which makes this a long read, but if your willing to stick with it you won't be upset at all. Main players in this, Cable, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, and Hope. 5 out of 5.

2010 Hunt for the Rookie Cards? Strasburg, Heyward, & Castro

So, If you didn't know the Stephen Strasburg Super Refactor Rookie Card from the Bowman, sold for roughly 16k. Now this is crazy, but then again its awesome for collectors like myself and or hunters. Now, we all hunt for the best. Either it be a sweet action figure or the lastest and greatest HOT item.

This has got me thinking, because I used to collect baseball cards when I was younger. There is no better time then now to start collecting again. Starting with hunting down the rookie cards of these THREE amazing young Ball players. Now, even though the super rare and expensive Strasburg Super Refactor, which is 1 of 1, was pulled. Doesn't mean there is nothing left to get, because there is most many great pulls to be had from the latest Bowman 2010 set.

Now, I don't want to go all into it, without know much about it. But I have to say, I will be on the hunt for these Rookie Cards, Even if I just get the basic versions of the rookie cards. So, Here to pulling Stephen Strasburg, Jason Heyward, & Starlin Castro, who is on the Chicago Cubs so hes a must get for me.

Aang & Zuko The Last Airbender 2010

I just wanted to post my two newest Video reviews here. I did them on Aang and Zuko from the Summer film The Last Airbender, a film based on the animated show Avatar: The Last Airbender. I really don't know much about this show but it really seems like its pretty cool, and Im finding out its way more popular than I ever thought. Which is really cool, maybe some of you can fill me in on the story. Because I really want to know more about the story.

Should I watch the show, and where can I do that? Is it still on TV or would it be better to watch it on DVD. Or is there any place online where I can watch the show. Thanks guys, you are always helpful and the best supporters.

Street Fighter IV RYU & KEN

These are probably the two most popular Street Fighters in the Series. I just recently picked up the New Super Street Fighter IV game for the PS3 and I have to say its really a blast. I'm not that great at fighting games, but Im a big fan of the Street Fighter series and they have always been my choice, when I wanted to play a fighting game.

Then at ToysRus I found out that they had these Street Fighter Figures, and let me tell you these figures are amazing. They look great and have outstanding articulation. I just recently posted reviews on Ken, Ryu, and Guile all in their alternate costumes. These figures are just amazing. I really recommend these figures if your a fan of the Series, they make great figures for the use in stop-motion, every day play, and/or even as just display pieces.

Im planning on doing another stop-motion, but this time using these figures. Its either going to be a dance of stop-motion or a fight. So, let me know what you want to see. Take it easy and enjoy the rest of your day.

Becoming a YouTube Partner?

Well, no not yet. Who knows it might not be any time soon, but from what Im hearing around the community. My channel and alot of other channels are looking very close to getting into the Partner program. So, yeah Im excited.

I have been appling for the last 3 weeks, but it never gets pass processing or in review. All, the things I hear are the total views you need, and that number is 150,000. The subs, and channel views done mean as much. I think they do, but I hear the 846 subs and 12,000 channel views are fine enough.

So, yeah I was tring to get in but i was getting no where. I have 235,000 views from my videos so Im thinking Im good. Well, I know I deleted alot of videos in the past that had copyright problems or if they were nothing I wanted to keep on there anymore. Well, after going over all of my 132 videos on my channel right now. I came up with 132,000 views. Dang, thats almost 100,000 views with deleted videos. Bummer?

No, not really because this makes sense now. I believe once I get about 18,000 more video views I should be able to apply again and should have no real problem. I think the reason why I was never got approved before was because I never had enough views, but everything else was good. So they just kept me waiting not approving me but then again not letting me in. I think once I hit the number it should be good.

I hope, if not then I have no idea how to get in lol. I know if you apply and get denied you can't apply again for 2 months, but that has never happend I have always canceled the application before I got any word back. I hope that doesn't count, I don't think so because it lets me apply again after I cancel it. I think they would stop me from applying if it counted.

"The Birth of War Machine" Preview Stopmotion

Hey, Guys I just wanted to give everyone a quick update, and a quick preview of the NEW stopmotion Im working on Called The Birth of War Machine!!!

This clip here is just a rough preview. This could very well, look different and I will add music to it too. So please give me some feed back. I stopped doing stopmotions because I was starting to get hate comments as a noobie making stopmotions so I stopped.

I tried to pick it up again, just let me know what you think. The whole movie will have many scenes and many different action figures including iron man and war machine.

So, I hope you enjoy the short preview, Im hoping to have the video done for everyone by Saturday morning. So I hope your excited.

Minimates Series?

I have been asked by many people to do stop-motions or a miniseries. I think these are great ideas, and I'm more than willing to work on projects like these. But I feel like its a huge task to take on all on my own.

I need more practice on making stopmotions, I guess I could watch more videos on how to do it. If anyone would give me some tips, that would be very helpful. Filming it all should not be a problem, but the one thing I will need help with is the voices. I'm sadly not able to change my voice a 1000 times like the great Jon 3.0!!!!!

So, If anyone is interested in helping me make these videos let me know by sending me a message on my youtube channel. Also, anyone with good ideas im all hears.

Here are a couple ideas Im thinking about.
1. A miniseries, stop motion VS's basically just a stop battle between two figures. Most likely minimates, because i have a solid collection.
2. A miniseries, stop motion and stills. Where I tell a story over a couple video's.
3. Stop motion, where its one story told in one video.
4. ?????? this is where im losing it. TEll me which one of the 3 you like the best or give me another idea. Thanks alot for the help.

Mighty Muggs Iron Man & War Machine

These are some pretty cool Mighty Muggs, but I'v passed on them for about two months now. They were always instock, but I noticed the stock of them slowly dwindly down, but I continued to pass on them. So, just last week I walked back into Toys R Us, and they were gone. I was little disappointed I let them slip away, because I had pleantly of time to pick them up, but I never did.

But today I did a run through my local Toys R US and found the Iron Man Mark VI, just I quickly picked up. They only had two on display, (now only one haha) and I was not going to pass on them again. But There was no War Machine where the Iron Man was sitting. I really wanted him the most, because of the two guns he comes with but if hes not there hes not there. (In my store they have a huge Iron Man 2 Display up in the front of the store this is where I found the Iron Man.)

I continued to walk back where they carry all the other action figures. Iron Man 2, DC Universe Classics, Minimates, Transformers, Star Wars, Mezitz, and Finally the Mighty Muggs. They had two back here, and I was thrilled at my finding. A stinking War Machine, I don't know how I missed him before or if it was a return, but I was like oh hot damn this is my War Machine boo ya!!!

So, the lesson I learned from this was if you have the money and the figure is there GET HIM!!! You can't count on him being there the next time you show up. Now, many times there will be alot of things you will want, but your only able to get a couple of them. The issue is which ones do you get. Well, think to yourself, will this be here the next time I show up? When will I be back? Was this here the last time I was here? There are many questions you should ask yourself if your put into this situation. The main thing is pick the figures that seem popular, even if they seem to have alot of them. They may be gone the next time you show up!!
